UPSC IES/ISS Examination 2014 – Apply Online for Indian Economic/ Statistical Service Posts: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a recruitment notification for conducting Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2014 for the recruitment of IES/ISS Vacancies. UPSC Vacancy Details:
Organization Name: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
Name of the Services/ Posts:
- Indian Economic Service: 15 Posts
- Indian Statistical Service: 23 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01-08-2014. In other words candidates must not have born earlier than 01-08-1984 and not latter then 01-08-1993.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of PG Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics for Indian Economic Service Posts and Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/- as application fee while SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
Application fee should be paid either by depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit card.
Selection Process: Selections of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview.
Online Application Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) posts through Union Public Service Commission, they are required to apply through online mode on UPSC’s official website or www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 10th March 2014.
After filling online applications, candidates need to take print out of application and keep it for further use.
How to Apply Online:
- Log on to SBI’s official website at www.upsconline.nic.in.
- Navigate to Recruitment Section.
- Click on “Apply Online” link under the Lecturer post you want to apply for.
- Fill application form with all mandatory details, payment details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
- Now make payment as mentioned above.
- If everything is right, submit your application form.
- Take print out of application for future references.
