Educational Qualifications:
Senior Consultant ->
(1) Master's degree in Fisheries Science/ Zoology with specialization in Fisheries/ Marine Biology/ Industrial Fisheries/ Aquaculture from recognized University or equivalent. Ph.D. will be preferred.
(2) 15 years' experience in the field of Fisheries (Inland/ Marine/ Aquaculture/ Food or Fish Processing/ Value Addition/ Ranching/ Conservation/ Marketing/ Management, Policy & Planning, Formulation, Technical Evaluation and Monitoring of plan Schemes.
Consultant (Fisheries) ->
(1) Master's degree in Fisheries Science/Zoology with specialization in Fisheries / Marine Biology/Industrial Fisheries/Aquaculture/Degree in Aquaculture Engineering/ Civil Engineering from recognized University or equivalent.
(2) Master in Fisheries will be given preference.
(3) 10 years' experience in the field of Fisheries (Inland/ Marine/ Aquaculture/Food or Fish Processing/ Value Addition/ Ranching/Conservation/Marketing/ Management, Policy & Planning, Formulation, Technical Evaluation and Monitoring of plan Schemes.
Interns (Fisheries) –> Post Graduation/Doctorate in Fisheries/Zoology with specialization in Fisheries who are willing to have an exposure/familiarization of the Overall process involvement in the development in Fisheries Sector-new Technologies, trend and thrust of the sector.
Walk in Interview -> 08/02/2014 at 11 AM at NIRD, Khanapara, Guwahati.
