SSC Southern Region Recruitment 2014 – Apply for Group B and Group C vacancies:Are you looking for SSC SR Recruitment? Staff Selection Commission, Southern Region (SR) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Group B and CC posts. Applications are invited for filling up 16 Instructor, Research Assistant and other posts under Group B and C vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format on or before 21st April 2014. 1. Medical Compounder in Central Cattle Breeding Farm, Avadi (Alamadhi), Chennai: 01 Post
2. Scientific Assistant in Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine & Storage: 03 Posts
3. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-I in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad: 02 Posts
4. Instructor in Central Institute for Fisheries Nautical & engineering Training, Kochi: 02 Posts
5. Instructor (Drawing) in Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET): 01 Post
6. Senior Research Assistant in Godavari Circle, Central Water Commission, Hyderabad: 06 Posts
7. Quarantine Inspector in Animal Quarantine & Certification Services, Chennai: 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria:  

Age Limit: Candidates age limitation is not similar for all above mentioned posts. Refer to notification page for post wise  age limit.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess the qualification of Matric/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination for Medical Compounder and B.Sc. with Botany or Zoology or B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University for Assistant and M.Sc Chemistry or Physics for Assistant and Degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering for Instructor posts and Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University for Research Assistant and Bachelor of Science with Zoology or Microbiology for Quarantine Inspector posts.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs.50/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps which are available in all Post Offices where there is no required of paying application fee for female, SC/ ST/ PH/ EXS candidates. Fee should be paid separately for each category for which applications are submitted separately. Candidate’s name, post applied for, address should be written on reverse side of demand draft.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, skill test and interview.
