APSC Recruitment 2013 – 226  Civil Service, Police Service Vacancies: Are you looking for Assam for Combined Competitive Examination 2014. Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Civil Service and Police Service Posts. Total Number of Vacancies: 226 Posts

Name of the Post:

1. Assam Civil Service (Jr.Grade): 115 Posts
2. Assam Police Service (Jr.Grade): 59 Posts
3. Labour Officer: 03 Posts
4. Superintendent of Taxes: 09 Posts
5. Superintendent of Excise: 04 Posts
6. District Transport Officer: 08 Posts
7. Inspector of Labour: 01 Post
8. Inspector of Taxes: 26 Posts
9. Inspector of Excise: 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 38 years for Engineer posts and  45 to 55 years for Principal posts. Age limitations will be considered at 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the qualification. Refer to notification page for post wise educational qualification.

Application Fee: General/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 50 while SC/ ST category candidates will have to pay /Rs. 25/- only. 

Selection Procedure: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in Written examination and Interview.  

How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Civil Service, Police Service and other posts in Assam Public Service Commission, they need to apply through online mode from 10th April 10th May 2014.

How to Applly Online.

1. Before applying candidates have to scan photograph with white background and signature in JPEG/ JPG or PNG format not exceeding 50 KB and 20 KB.
2. Visit to www.apsc.nic.in.
3. Click on Apply Online.
4. Fill all the details carefully and upload photo and signature.
5. After filling the details click on I Agree button.
6. Edit Option is Provided for any corrections.
7. After submission candidate should take printout of the system generated Bank e-challan, Registration Slip and Application Form for future use.
