Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2014 – Apply for 942 Clerk Vacancies: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Clerk Posts. Applications are invited for filling up 942 Clerk vacancies in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM). Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Vacancy Details:

Organization Name: Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM)

Total Number of Vacancies: 942

Name of Posts: Clerk

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 33 years for General candidates and 18 years to 38 years for reserved category candidates as on 09-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ SSC or its equivalent exam with with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must have Typing knowledge of Marathi & English languages with the speed of 30 w.p.m and possess the certificate of D.O.E.A.C.C or C.C.C or MSCIT..

Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are are required to pay Rs. 400/-, SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs. 200/- as application fee while Ex-Serviceman candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 - 20,200 + Grade pay of Rs. 2000/-.

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in online test and Interview.
