SSC Stenographer Grade c& d:

Post Eligibility for Stenographer:

Grade C: Ministries/ Departments of Central Government, in New Delhi
Grade D: Ministries/ Departments of Central Government, in New Delhi
 For Offices/ Departments of Central Government including  Secondary Offices  in States and Union Territories all over the country.


Applying eligibility:
·         A candidate must have Intermediate qualification fom any board or university.
·         Candidate must be either from India, Nepal or Bhopal or Tibetan refugee who migrated to India.
·         Age eligibility is from 18 to 27 years.

Mode of Application form:

·         Online: After filling of form, take print out of E-slip or challan, which is payable through any SBI or use Debit card /Credit Card.
·         Offline: Candidate should pay Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) available at   Departmental Post Offices of the country. Get more update on recruitmentinfosite.com . Recruitment Fee Stamps should be placed on application form on the space provided .If CRFS is not attached, then your application form must be cancelled.On cancellation of form by post office,a candidate registration must be cancelled.


Selection Scheme:
The selection is based on written test followed by an test of skills of candidate. The written test contains 200 questions of 200 marks with a duration of 2 hours for general candidates & 2 hours 40 minutes for physically handicapped.. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will deducted from calculated marks.

The test include following fields:

1.      General Intelligence & Reasoning: It contains 50 questions of 1 mark.
2.      General Awareness: It contains 50 questions of 1 mark.
3.     English Language and Comprehension: It contains 100 questions of 1 mark.


General Intelligence & Reasoning: analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, nonverbal series etc

General Awareness: It include Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc

English Language and Comprehension: vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc.
